Good morning!! It feels just a bit strange posting today. I woke up this morning, thinking I needed to call Erin to see if she had anything to post, or if I could post my layout today. Then I remembered..."oh, yeah...she's gone.." lol..I sound a bit dramatic, I know. I know she isn't gone, just that we will no longer have to schedule our posts around eachother!
It does still feel a bit strange, though. Honestly, I guess my biggest fear is that I am speaking to an empty room, so to speak. I fear that our followers maybe only stopped by here because of her or something. I know that isn't true, but I still am a little nervous!!!
Anyway, I have a layout to share that I put together last night. I really love this one, I had so much fun making the fun background, and then digging through my scraps for the rest. I then went into what I call my bits and pieces pile (the top of my desk, lol) and found little random bits to coordinate. I used the current sketch from Artful Delight, although I really ran away from it a bit. But, it was my starting point, and if you look hard enough, you will see it!!

Nope...not an empty room! I'm here, and I'm loving this page, Kelly. I love the background...the black and white play nicely off the photo. I love the soft colors you added...the blues, greens & peach...so pretty! As usual, another gorgeous creation!

Kelly this is great, so many fun details and love the dark and light colors mixed in...you don't have to worry about anyone not coming here, your work is gorgeous, and you've got lots of people who think so :)

You always produce the most amazing pages Kelly! Thank you for leaving that generous comment on my art journal page. If there was anyone I'd want to encourage to give an art journal page a go, it would be you. You always put thoughtful artful details on your pages, and the exercise of working on an art journal and learning new textures and techniques would only make you a better artists. How bad is that? Give it a go and let know so that I can boast about it! Ha.
It was nice having both of you greatly talented sisters on one blog, but NO PROBLEM. I'll be hitting both of them daily. Love this latest LO of yours. How you come up with so much from your "bits and pieces" is one of life's mysteries to me.
Hi Kelly! Congrats on the big decision i know it must have been a hard one but everything happens for a reason! I love what you and your sister do,you both have two different styles i will happily follow the both of you! :) I absolutely love love love this page, it is so soft and yet dramatic with the black and Lilah is just adorable! Hope all is well on the homefront with your two little darlings! Don't worry i will be back!

This "empty" room is starting to get crowded! Love your Lo. Your work is so colorful and I love all your layers. I think we all miss Erin too, but having separate blows means twice as much fun.
