(Kelly) Creative Scrappers #211

Good morning!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Me, I got back to work this weekend, and honestly it wasn't too bad. I had had a rough week with the kids and being sick, and my nerves were pretty shot, so it was kind of nice to get away and do something different! I am sure that will wear off once I really get back to working. But, now I'm off for the next two weeks, so I don't have to worry about it!
I did get a little bit of scrapping time in, although I'm finding myself a little uninspired lately..I think it all has to do with being sick (getting better now, I think.), and lack of sleep and cranky children. So I finished two layouts this weekend but I'm not sure how I feel about them.
I will show you the first one today. I made this one using Creative Scrappers sketch #211. The adorable photo is of Lilah, with her favorite "Itsy Bitsy Spider" book, singing to Paisley, hand motions and all!! Such a good big sister!! (When she isn't hitting her...or throwing things at her head, that is...)
I used more of Prima's Doodle Deux collection on this one, and pretty much started just piling stuff on! For my background, I used a painting stencil I found at my local fabric store for $1, to make the fun circle patterns.
Thank you so much for taking a look! Enjoy your Monday!! (Or Tuesday, depending on where in the world you are!)

That is the sweetest photo!! And I know what you mean about the hitting and throwing...been there, done that! Unfortunately, it doesn't go away, but eventually Paisley will get bigger and be able to defend herself!! :) I love the awesome colors in the papers and the border strips you added along the side!! Hope you all get well and stay well for a long time!!

Love the stencils you used!! And did you quill the curls? That is fantastic. I've never been into quilling, but if that's brilliant! I love the jouranling very subtly around the scallops. So many details, so hard to chose which to look at :)
