Here's a layout for the June challenge at Once Upon A...Sketch. This will be the last time I will be doing their challenges as a participant, because my 1 year DT term begins next month!! I can't wait! The theme is "Birthdays" and I chose to journal about this dress that I made for Lilah's party. I fussy cut the photo because the backdrop was ugly, and I felt it well displayed the dress to go with the theme of my layout! I used the fun dress pattern-like papers from Crate's Pretty Party collection, and just layered the pieces I cut out behind my photo. I also used a couple bits of scrap fabric from the dress to help the colors tie together better. My journaling is hidden, see photo.
I have so many many many birthday photos to scrap, I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of them!! Erin was nice enough to play photographer for me, so I wouldn't worry about not taking enough photos while busy with the party! Thanks again, Erin!

This is page is absolutely adorable! love love love the pops of fuchsia and how brilliantly you have used the pattern and colours from the dress in your embellies, the rolled up flower is beautiful!
