I want to share with you my layout for the May challenge at Once Upon A...Sketch. This is actually the second layout I have made for this challenge, I have yet to post the first one because I just am not satisfied with it, it didn't go the direction I wanted it to, so I made another one! I'm pretty sure I read that you can enter more than once, so I might yet share that one, too, we will see.
The photo on this one is very dear to me..I am sure there is nothing quite as wonderful as a sleeping baby on your chest!!! I remember quite well the sad feeling when Lilah stopped falling asleep on me, I miss it so much, and never realized that I would. So now that I have Paisley to do the same, I am enjoying every minute of it!! I have made a mental note to enjoy every moment with her, because, as they say, they really do grow SO fast!!
Anyway...my journaling reads:
"Another daughter...I just might be the luckiest mom alive- to have 2 beautiful girls to call my own! It's an amazing feeling to get exactly what you always wanted- I'm so in love! 5-6-12 Paisley & Mama."
My journaling always seems to sound so "rambling" because I never pre-write it, I just start going...lol.
I used some more of the beautiful Everyday Poetry collection from Webster's. I'm in love with all of the pink on this one!! Can't go wrong with pink and brown, right?

another gorgeous layout Kelly, I love it too when Zachary falls asleep on my chest, although now he is 45 pounds so it's a little cumbersome, but I'll let him do it as long as he wants too...I can't even get a hug out of his teenage brother...that's a darling photo, one to treasure for sure :)

It's the most amazing time with a new bub and you're right the time goes so fast and even when you're tired you need to enjoy each moment.

I do LOVE the colors. Of course, the flowers & flourishes too. Very precious LO & picture.
Kelly this is stunning. How beautiful are those colours with that precious photo. You are right to cherish these moments because they are all too fleeting. My baby is three now and I do miss his baby days :(

Just beautiful Kelly. I love those papers and such a treasured photo. I totally agree. I loved having my babies fall asleep on me.....I miss it too.
