(Erin) "Smile!" Prima BAP/BITW/+ Some Winners!!

Good morning!! I've got a layout to share with you this morning- and the winners for both my Scrap FX Blog Hop prize and our National Scrapbook Day giveaway!! But just because I want to keep you in suspense for a minute, I'm going to share my project with you first, and THEN get to the winners ;)- I know, mean huh??!! ;)

SO...I really fell in love with all of the Prima collections released this last Winter CHA, and this one is one of my faves- next to Fairy Belle. It's the Nature Garden line and it's just GORGEOUS!! I've had this one just waiting for me inside its pretty plastic sleeve, so it felt GREAT to get it out and tear some of it up :). For whatever reason, the idea of a "curtain" came to mind when I started working on this page and I was admittedly a little nervous it wouldn't turn out quite the way I wanted and I would have wasted some of this fabulous paper. But with the help of the May Prima BAP sketch, and with some inspiration from the current word challenge "Smile" over at Bird is the Word- it all came together :)...
Another great photo of my little "Gunners" (as I like to call him- don't know why I put an "s" on his name...and then other times he's just "Animal"- which he responds to as well!)...do your kids go through great photo phases too? I find that there's spans of time where I cannot get a SINGLE picture of this guy and then all the sudden he's just AMAZING at posing for pictures. Same with my other 2 kids- Wyatt...Aspen...both of them go through times of no smiles and other times just the oppposite...

Everything on this page is Prima- except the cheesecloth and fabric remnants- I especially love this butterfly- I prefer the smaller ones to the larger as they're easier to fit in with my flower clusters. And the stick pin?- gorgeous. I know I can make them myself and all- but these were just too pretty to resist!

My "curtain" idea...I just tore the corners off of a different sheet of paper, rolled back the edges, and layered in some cheesecloth & a bow to create the effect...turned out just as I'd pictures, which is nice!

Plenty of delicious goodies here!! And I just can't get over my little guy's cheeky smile here- he's just awesome.

Here is the Prima BAP Sketch:
Always love these sketches! :)

SO- since I know you're all curious- I guess I'd better get to announcing the WINNERS!!!

FIRST- For the winner of my giveaway for the Scrap FX Blog Hop...
