Good evening! It's been a looong day here, but I wanted to share with you the first layout I created this month for Scrap FX, featuring some of their brand new releases (see my blog post over @ Scrap FX here)! The theme this month is "Farm & Country" and over the next couple of weeks I'll be showing you how to incorporate some of these fabulous new pieces into your projects!
"Brothers"
Scrap FX Chipboard used on this layout:
~I love the look of natural chipboard, especially on a piece like this. But by adding just a touch of gesso randomly over the chipboard, you create automatic texture and interest, while bringing uniformity to your project. I love that everything "matches", by carrying over the same technique to all of the other details on my layout.
~The tag at the top of my page was folded in half to conceal my hidden journaling, then tucked under the top distressed layer.
Additional Supplies Used:
~Pion Design papers
~Prima Marketing, Manorhouse Creations, Petaloo, & Flying Unicorn flowers
~Prima Marketing vine
~Christine Adolph "Paint-It" die cut shapes
~Prima Chalk Fluid Edger Pad "Tin Can"
Thanks for taking a peek! I hope your weekend is going well (for those of you still in it!)-
Will be back tomorrow :)~

This is wonderful...I'm so not good at using chippy, it's great to have some hints on how to deal with it! I LOVE your pelmet up the top, where the tag tucks under...really neat:):):)
