(Kelly) "Bubble Bliss"

Good afternoon!! It feels like it's been awhile...I had a fairly busy week having my Mom here to visit, and haven't had a lot of time to scrap. But I did get to make this layout last night, using Sketchabilities sketch #66 . I am seriously in love with Karen Gerber's sketches, they are beautiful, and so fun to work with. I love that they pack multiple photos onto a 1-page layout, perfect for me! I was really excited to see that my "1 Month" layout that I made using sketch #65 was in their "Features" and is displayed with the rest of the top five in the Sketchabilities blog header, pretty neat!

I changed up the sketch just a touch, instead of the doily element, I decided to fussy-cut this hexagon/honeycomb pattern from MME's Follow Your Heart: Be Amazing collection. I never thought the hexagon trend would be something I'd get sucked into...but it just worked out perfectly here, I love it! And the colors in this paper line are some of my favorites. 

I journaled about Lilah's current obsession...bubbles...or "bubb-O's" as she calls them :) I pretty much hear about bubb-Os all day long!! I took these fun photos a few days ago, I ended up turning the photos b&w, because the colors just would not work for what I wanted to do with them. I just had fun getting a little "messy" with the random misting, stitching, and doodling. This was one of those layouts that just "came together" quickly and nicely, I didn't over think it, just started layering and liked what I saw! Thanks so much for taking a look!!

Oh, and another thing I thought I'd share...(please don't laugh, as I'm starting to look like a small whale)..Here is a photo taken yesterday, me at 33 weeks..woo hooo not far to go, now!!
